Born Upstate New York
Raised in Miami… living there thru 1980.
Married for over 38 years to a Delta Flight Attendant turned Human Resources Manager for The Home Depot. We share our home with “Sugar”, a 11 year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever.
Moved to Atlanta in 1980 and worked for Flying Tigers Air Cargo Line selling cargo services to corporate accounts in the Georgia and Tennessee market areas.
Left Tigers in 1985 to pursue a career in passenger marketing with SABENA Belgian Airlines… selling group passenger traffic to Europe, Africa and the Middle East… thru 1991 at which time I joined the Canadian Consulate General in Atlanta, as a Business Travel Commercial Officer serving seven Southeastern States and Puerto Rico. Currently serving as the Director of Meetings, Conventions and Incentive (MC&IT) Sales Development for the Canadian Tourism Commission in the SEUSA.
Fun things done in Canada:
Drove a dog sled for first time in Banff, AB… quite a story
Flew thru the air on ZIP Trek Line in Whistler, BC
Enjoyed live theatre in Toronto… too many plays to mention here
Walked in Chinatown in Vancouver – second largest only to San Francisco
Driven the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia ….before the Pub Crawl in Halifax !!
Have seen many festivals – especially in Montreal- Jazz, Fireworks, Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.
Caught a salmon off Vancouver Island
Skied Canada!!
Tasted the fine cuisines of Canada
First spa visit …. Green tea and orange body wrap in Whistler….many more visits since the initial experience.
