Debra Edwards currently works as the Director of Regional Accounts for the Southeast Territory for Wynn & Encore properties in Las Vegas. She covers 12 states for Mr. Steve Wynn and assists in bringing group convention & meeting business to her properties through travel and marketing the brand. Her career path in the hospitality industry leading up to this prestigious organization, spans over 16 years beginning in Los Angeles, California.

After a successful career in the music entertainment industry, Debra started her own catering company in the San Fernando Valley area of LA. Achieving great success there, Debra and her family relocated to the Atlanta area in 1996, following the Olympics. Her first position here was as Sr Catering Manager at the Westin Peachtree Plaza. From there she moved to the Wyndham organization and held positions as Regional Director of Catering and Director of Sales.

After several years with Wyndham, Debra moved to the planner side and joined Monumental Meetings, a prominent full service planning company here in Atlanta, as Director of Business Development. After 3 years with MM, she then accepted her first Regional Position with Krisam Group and Global Event Partners. Debra assisted in opening the SE Regional office for Krisam and expanded their brand throughout the region.

From Krisam, Debra spent a year with Hilton assisting in the renovation and re-flagging of the Marietta Hotel and Conference Center as Director of Sales. In 2009, the Wynn organization began its Regional Director department and Debra was the first to accept that position. She has been with Wynn and Encore since 2009 and is enjoying great success representing one of the world’s finest resorts.

Debra resides in the Marietta area and shares her home with her 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 motorcycles. Her son is currently enrolled at Kennesaw University and her daughter is a success film producer in the New York market. Known for her personal connections with her customers and dedication to excellence, Debra Edwards is considered an industry leader in her field. Hard work and attention to detail have been a standard for Debra. Her passion for this industry is evident in all that she does.
